Welcome to the Rother Valley South Area Assembly website. The Area Assembly covers the 3 wards of Anston & Woodsetts, Dinnington, Wales and eleven parishes. The chairperson of the Area Assembly is Councillor Jenny Whysall.

The Rother Valley South Area Assembly covers 36 square miles in the south of the borough. Rother Valley South is mainly rural with most land in arable agricultural use. The population of 33,230 is concentrated in the urban areas of Dinnington, Anston, Wales and Kiveton Park but is otherwise quite dispersed.
