Consultation on Rotherham's Local Development Frmework begins on the 4th of July until the 16th of September. The Local Development Framework will provide a long term strategy for Rotherham, setting out policies and proposals for new housing, shopping and employment and how you travel around and about the borough. The consultation will look at how much development should be planned for, to 2027 and where in Rotherham this should go.
A number of Parish and Town Councils will be hosting local events and presentations over the coming weeks. For further details please click here to be redirected to the local development framework website.

Social Enterprise
The free support we are able to provide at Voluntary Action Rotherham is paid for through the European Regional Development Fund and our local Regional Development Agency — Yorkshire Forward. We are part of Rotherham Enterprise and our partners are the Chamber of Commerce and RMBC, through RiDO (Rotherham Investment and Development Office) and Rotherham Youth Enterprise.
Community Business Coaches give support to any individual or group hoping to set up a business – in our case a Social Enterprise.

Through the ‘My Say, My Way’ initiative, you control the level of your involvement. You can get involved in as much or as little as you wish.
