Meet the Team

There are 3 members of staff who work within the Rother Valley South Area Assembly.

Each one performs a different, but crucial role in order to achieve aims, objectives and targets. Contact details for each member of staff can also be found below.

AREA PARTNERSHIP MANAGER

Kath Amies

After some time delivering strategic based services in the Town Centre, Kath accepted an opportunity to return to the frontline, in a capacity where she could utilise the skills she had obtained over the last few years, in order to affect real change.

Kath has worked for the Council in a number roles including Tenant Involvement Officer, Area Housing Manager and Service Development.Officer    On hearing she was successful in covering the Area Partnership Manager role until November 2010, Kath stated ‘I am well aware of the change the service has already made on community involvement with partners.  I feel I can add value to the next phase where community engagement is paramount.   I have over 25 years experience working frontline with people and communities, coupled with a background working knowledge of corporate protocols, decision making routes, and partnership working at strategic level.

I hope that I can make an impact during my time at Rother Valley South and come away from this experience with a better understanding of the support communities need to achieve, feel safe and able to engage in the democratic process.

COMMUNITY SUPPORT OFFICER

Nicky Hayes.

Hi my name is Nicky and I have been the Community Support Officer at Rother Valley South for the last 18 months.

This has been a good learning curve for me as I have never worked in such a community based role before. Every day is different which is why I enjoy it so much.
