Meet the Team


There are 3 members of staff who work within the Rother Valley South Area Assembly.

Each one performs a different, but crucial role in order to achieve aims, objectives and targets. Contact details for each member of staff can also be found below.

 

AREA PARTNERSHIP MANAGER

 Hi my name is Nosober Latif and I am the Area Partnership Manager for the Rother Valley South Area Assembly.

I have been away on maternity leave for the past 12 months. During my absence, the team have been busy and you can read all about their activities and achievements on this website.
 
During the coming 12 months we will be focusing on delivering this years Area Plan and the Area Assembly Devolved Budget.
 
The Area Assembly Continues to meet in your local area and we now also support our Safer Neighbourhood Team with the monthly PACT meetings. Details of both can be found on this website.
 
We are still heavily involved in the Neighbourhood Action Group and are still running the Mobile CCTV Project.
 
In the coming months, we will be updating our website to include details of the Area Assembly Devolved Budget Projects that are taking place in your area.

 Hi I’m Andrea, your Community Involvement Officer.  I have been undertaking paid work with communities for the last eight years, both within the Voluntary and Statutory sectors.  Prior to working in RotherValley South, I have always worked in and around Rotherham town centre and issues for the communities there are very different!

 
For the last four years I’ve been the Community Involvement Officer for the Rother Valley South area and have really enjoyed my time here. As you can imagine, I’ve seen some big changes take place.
I think it’s really important that people have a say about what happens in their local community and by listening to what local people say, we can improve things for the better.

Nicky Hayes.

Hi my name is Nicky and I have been the Community Support Officer at Rother Valley South for the last 18 months.

This has been a good learning curve for me as I have never worked in such a community based role before. Every day is different which is why I enjoy it so much.
