Welcome to the Rother Valley West Area Assembly website. The Area Assembly covers the 3 wards of Brinsworth & Catcliffe, Holderness and Rother Vale. The chairperson of the Area Assembly is Councillor John Swift.

There is a population of around 34,000 and is concentrated in the main urban areas of Aston, Aughton, Swallownest, Brinsworth and the smaller communities of Catcliffe, Treeton, Brampton en-le Morthen, Orgreave, Thurcroft, Ulley and Fence.
