Holmes Crescent Walkabout                                   Coffee Morning held with residents

Residents living on Holmes Crescent at Treeton were experiencing anti-social behaviour by young people. They took the issue to the Rother Valley West Area Assembly meeting on 14th June.  ollowing this meeting The P.A.C.T. (Partners and Communities Together) decided to make Holmes Crescent a PACT priority.

Since the meeting the Safer Neighbourhood Team have been regularly patrolling the area especially in the evenings.

One of the issues raised was the bench at the top of Holmes Crescent which attracted gatherings of young people.  The SNT are currently asking for residents views on the removal of the bench.  Residents will be kept informed of future developments

Also officers from Rother Valley West Area Assembly, 2010, and the Safer Neighbourhood Team attended a coffee morning where residents were able to explain some of the problems they were having.  This was followed by the Safer Neighbourhood Team holding it’s weekly meeting on Holmes Crescent so residents could point out issues.
