AREA PARTNERSHIP MANAGER
ANDREA PEERS
Hi, my name is Andrea Peers and I am the Area Partnership Manager for Rother Valley West.
I have worked in Local Government for 23 years and joined Rotherham Council in November 2006.
Joining Rotherham Metropolitan Borough Council as Area Partnership Manager for Rother Valley West has proved both challenging and enjoyable. I feel that my teams biggest achievement so far has been forming the positive relationships with partners and the community that enables us to get things done.

COMMUNITY INVOLVEMENT OFFICER
JULIE BARNETT
Hello everyone, I’m Julie Barnett, the Community Planning Officer for Rother Valley West Area Assembly.
I have held the post of Community Planning Officer for the period of 16 months and since that time I have worked in partnership with other agencies, like South Yorkshire Police, Primary Care Trust and many other organisations. Much of my work is centred around Area Assemblies, Community engagement and supporting Parish Councils to develop Parish Plans.
I have also organised events which give members of the public the opportunity to find out more about the role of Area Assembly and other service providers who are working in the Rother Valley West area.

COMMUNITY SUPPORT OFFICER
KYLEY TAYLOR
I am the Community Support Officer for Rother Valley West and job share with my colleague Nicola Hacking.
I have worked for Rotherham Metropolitan Borough Council for 17 years, starting out in the typing pool before moving into Community Regeneration and finally into the Area Assembly team. The most enjoyable part of working for Rother Valley West Area Assembly is working with the community, enabling local people to have their say so that we can begin to make a difference to their quality of life.

COMMUNITY SUPPORT OFFICER
NICOLA HACKING
I am the Community Support Officer for Rother Valley West and I job share with my colleague Kyley Taylor.
I have worked for Rotherham Metropolitan Borough Council for seven years and my biggest achievement has been to make the transition from the “old way of working” to the “new way of working” which has allowed me to work much more closely with partners, particularly around crime and safety issues. It is a joy to see real progress being made in these areas.
