The Area Assembly and the Neighbourhood Action Group are all about supporting the improvement of services across your area, in response to what you tell us are your priorities for change.
As Area Partnership Manager, I manage the team. I work day to day with elected members, colleagues from different services and agencies and community groups to help plan and deliver key projects for service improvement, and to make best use of available resources. I also chair the Neighbourhood Action Group, which works in three priority neighbourhoods, with the aim of reducing crime and anti-social behaviour.
As Community Involvement Officer, Julie’s main role is to make sure there are effective working arrangements between the Council, other service providers and local communities, partnerships and networks. Julie has a key role in developing and delivering consultation, to inform the work of the Area Assembly and its Coordinating Group.
We are supported by Mandy, the Community Support Officer, who provides invaluable support in the day to day running of the office, organising and supporting our many meetings, producing publicity, and generally keeping us on track.
