We had the benefit of a lovely sunny afternoon at the local fundraising event, which is organised each year by the Wath Community Partnership. At the Wath Gala, we worked alongside Ground Work and the Friends of Wath Parks committee, doing some consultation on the proposals for the future of the Recreation Road ground, Newhill Park, Strathmore Park and Avenue Road in Wath.  

Visitors to the stand were able to see proposals and designs for the work; aimed at protecting the Recreation Road site, enhancing the Newhill Park environment and developing a green environment and play offer for all community needs in Wath. They were then able to complete questionnaires aimed at individual sites. The display and questionnaires were also available in the Montgomery Hall on Wednesday mornings, to coincide with their market day coffee morning, which is always very popular.
