The Safer Neighbourhood Team along with the support from Lisa's family has ensured that the name of this popular police woman will live on. An award organised by the Rotherham South Area Assembly team in partnership with Canklow Woods Primary School was made to Kieran Kelsall to mark his much improved school attendance. The award comprised of a shield that has been engraved with Keiran's name and will be kept in School and an individual trophy for Kieran keep.
Lisa was a regular visitor to the school and impressed on pupils how important it is to go to school so this award is very fitting. Lisa was a police officer for nearly 30 years and had been an area constable for Canklow for the last two years before her death, she was also a member of the Rotherham South Safer Neighbourhood Team.
The Shield and Trophy were funded by Councillor Rose McNeely from the Boston Castle Ward Community Leadership Fund.
