The event was organised by Rotherham United Community Sports Trust with support from Rotherham North Area Assembly, RMBC Sports Development, Ferham Children's Centre, South Yorkshire Police, REMA, Rotherham Hawks and World Aid.

There were a number of different sporting activities taking place including boxing, football, basketball and climbing.

The event was opened by Lord Ahmed and Cllr Jahangir Akhtar presented the Uder 8's trophy to Greasbrough Youth Football Club.
