The Rother Valley West Area Assembly is currently working in partnership with the Thurcroft Crime and Safety Forum. They are tackling issues of anti-social behaviour, fly-tipping and litter as these concerns had been raised by local residents.
Residents of Thurcroft had decided to set up the Crime and Safety Group due to major worries in the area, the group is currently working closely in partnership with officers from Area Assembly. South Yorkshire Police and Thurcroft Parish Council have thrown their weight behind tackling the issues that have been raised.
The group have been meeting on a monthly basis and the issues raised have been fed back to the local Safer Neighbourhood team for action. The information also feeds into the high level Neighbourhood Action Group.
