Funding was found and the burial ground has been renovated and is now surrounded by appropriate attractive fencing and has new signs acknowledging the two visitations and the people who were unfortunate enough to lose their lives to the disease.

On Monday, 7th April at 10.00am the Area Assembly is holding a commemorative event at the Cholera Burial Ground on Park Road, East Dene. The Reverend Hedley Richardson will be present and will conduct a small service.
